Excellence Prize

In order to distinguish the degree of demonstrated excellence and the impact of the presentations, the society will award two Excellence Prizes for ‘Best Presentation’ and ‘Best Poster’ at the International Conference of Multiphysics. The award jury consists of the selected members of the conference committee led by the conference chair. These awardees are selected in accordance with the criteria outlined below.

Selection criteria for the Best Presentation:

  1. Excellence in research: this includes, but is not limited to, the importance of the topic, the methodology, strong link to areas of Multiphysics, and significance of findings.

  2. Clarity of the presentation: this deals with how well the material presented may be understood by experts and to some extent by general audience.

  3. Impact of the research: to what extent the research has an impact to the welfare of the society.

  4. Contribution to learning: how well the research conducted contributes to university curricula.

  5. Future mileage: how the continuation of the proposed research is going to have an impact on Multiphysics.

Selection criteria for the Best Poster:

  1. Excellence in research: this includes, but is not limited to, the importance of the topic, the methodology, strong link to areas of Multiphysics, and significance of findings.

  2. Clarity of the poster: how well the data are presented in the form of figures, equations, text and graphs.

  3. Aesthetics: how attractive and colourful the presentation is to inspire future generations about Mutliphysics.

  4. Structure: how well the information is divided between sections to allow for legibility and clarity.
