Outreach Fund

Multiphysics Outreach Fund provides financial support to members, individuals, and organisations in order to enable them to run Multiphysics engagement activities.

Through the fund we aim to support projects that:

  • maximise outreach and engagement contribution,

  • offer Multiphysics based scientific enriching activities and opportunities to further knowledge of research students and early career researchers, 

  • provide hard-to-reach audiences with inspiring engagement opportunities, delivered, and coordinated by skilled people.

Funding

The Outreach Fund is conditional to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria and agreement to the terms and conditions.  The award includes:

  • Partial or full registration fee waiver to participate in the International Conference of Multiphysics.

  • Partial or full exemption of the Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in the International Journal of Multiphysics.

     

Eligibility

The grant scheme is open but not limited to members of the International Society of Multiphysics, researchers in academia or industry, master's students, doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career researchers. To be eligible for the grant, applications must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Applicant should seek to engage with member(s) of the International Society of Multiphysics.

  • Grant is restricted to two per individual. 

  • Applicants should not resubmit an unsuccessful application unless invited to do so.

Criteria

All applications will be judged on the following criteria:

  • that the project has a significant aspect which is related to the field of Multiphysics,

  • that the project has identified tools and methods that will lead to the outcome of results,  

  • that the project will lead to one or more publication(s) in the International Journal of Multiphysics.

Terms and Conditions

The applicant agrees with the following terms and conditions. 

  • The applicant will engage with the member(s) of the International Society of Multiphysics.

  • The applicant will adhere to scientific and academic ethical guidelines.

  • The applicant will volunteer to peer-review articles for the International Journal of Multiphysics.
