The International Journal of Multiphysics (2007-2024) published peer-reviewed original research articles, review papers, and communications in the broadly defined field of Multiphysics. The emphasis of the journal was on theoretical developments, numerical modelling, and experimental investigations that underpin Multiphysics studies. Articles covered both fundamental research and industrial applications. The journal issues were published quarterly.

The scope of the journal was to address the latest advances in theoretical developments, numerical modelling, and industrial applications, promoting the concept of simultaneous engineering. Typical combinations involved a selection of subject disciplines such as Acoustics, Electrics, Explosives, Fire, Fluids, Magnetism, Soil, Structures, and Thermodynamics.
